Rick is the former President and a founding partner of Capstone Mechanical, from which he retired in 2023. Professionally, Rick spent his career in the HVAC sector in several areas that included engineering, contracting, and manufacturing. He received a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor in 1993. In retirement, Rick spends time serving in the community in the following ways: Trustee for the Midway Independent School District since 2013, Executive Board of Advisors for the Greater Waco Advanced Manufacturing Academy, Chairman of the Public Policy Committee for the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chair of the Advisory committee for the new TSTC/City of Waco/McLennan County collaboration called WorkSITE. Co-Host of the Waco History Podcast, Crossroad Series. Rick, and his wife Elizabeth, reside in Woodway and have four sons Ross, Kyle, Jack, and Cade.
