Applied Research and Technology Development
Baylor conducts applied research to address specific challenges and find practical solution in various fields like medicine, engineering, agriculture, and environmental science. This research often involves collaboration with industry partners and government agencies, ensuring relevance and real- world impact.
A one- stop shop for industry researcher and development, the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative (BRIC) offers equipment and infrastructure which enables Baylor faculty and industry partners to collaborate on a multitude of research and developmental tasks.
Because of the BRIC’s unique structure, along with the support of our knowledgeable faculty and staff, these facilities and labs can provide the same level of reliable analysis and support typically found in large companies, with better speed and reduced cost, across a variety of disciplines.
