Schedule and Deadlines

The Baylor University Institutional Biosafety Committee schedules at least four meetings per year. Please note the submission deadlines for each meeting.

The IBC accepts submissions year round. Protocols requiring full committee review will not receive a final determination until after the committee has convened for a regularly scheduled meeting. Early submission allows the IBC Chair and the University Biosafety Officer to provide guidance to the principal investigator, if needed, in order to ensure the IBC receives a well-prepared and review-ready submission.
