Baylor Arts & Humanities Grant Writing Workshop

The session will cover: 1) Benefits of grant writing for A&H faculty; 2) Types of grants available and how to find them; 3) Baylor resources for writing grants; and 4) How to organize and write competitive proposals. Participants will receive a copy of the Baylor Grant Writing Handbook and will have the opportunity to schedule a one-on-one consult about their grant writing plans.

Arts & Humanities | Grant Workshop #2 Part Two focuses on the different types of A&H funding opportunities, reading a grant solicitation, determining competitiveness of your idea, and developing an elevator speech. Arts & Humanities | Grant Workshop #3 Part Three addresses clear and compelling ways to present your project, develop a timeline, and draft a 1-pager for the funding agency. Arts & Humanities | Grant Workshop #4 Part Four focuses on resources available such as grant toolkits, establishing leadership in your field by being a reviewer, and discussing potential collaborations and cross-disciplinary work.
