SET: Building a Foundation for AI Literacy - Introducing The BEARS AI Basics

Join co-creators Amy James (Baylor Libraries) and Dr. Megan Alstot (Academy for Teaching & Learning) for a first look at The BEARS AI Basics, a Canvas microcourse that builds a foundational way of thinking about AI and learning. Students first explore how AI works, its ethical stakes, and how humans learn, then move into AI strategies and tool use informed by cognitive psychology. Amy James will also share updated AI literacy library guides for students that you can include in your courses, along with faculty guides to support your own approach to AI.
