University Participation in SBIR/STTR: Pre-submission to Post-award

University researchers participating in an SBIR or STTR project, either as a subcontractor or as the small business owner, must be aware of the specific SBIR/STTR rules that may differ from those of other funding mechanisms. Understanding the rules is critical to successful participation and compliance.

In addition to covering eligibility, this session will examine key considerations that arise during the development of an SBIR/STTR proposal and after it has been awarded, from the university’s perspective.
