Contact your URA to request a no-cost extension if allowed by the sponsor.
Work with your URA throughout the life of the project to ensure that expenses are incurred within the project’s period of performance. Spending near the project’s end date may require specific, documented justification.
PIs are responsible for all programmatic reporting. Post-award is responsible for tracking that programmatic reporting has been completed. Post-award is also responsible for all financial, intellectual property and equipment reporting. Sponsors may vary in who has submission access for both programmatic and financial reporting. Work with your URA to understand these roles.
